39 STEPS
1. This tutorial will show you how to send a message to more than 100 people, also known as sending a Bulk Message.
To start, Click the arrow next to Messaging to expand the dropdown.
2. Click Message Center
3. Click New Message
4. Click Start a Message (bulk)
5. In bulk messaging, the system sends your message to each person on the list in isolation, and repeats that action separately for each person in the recipient list.
6. Because each recipient receives your message in isolation, we only need the Add Recipients (TO) option.
Click Add Recipients (TO)
7. If you need to apply any Filters, such as Tags, Pools, or Tiers, expand the Filters area and apply your chosen Filters. This step is optional.
Click the arrow next to Filters if you would like to use this option to help select people.
8. There could be thousands of people in this list, so it is likely you will need to filter on other items before sending your message.
To see what information is available to filter from, click Actions.
9. Click Columns to select the columns that contain the information you are interested in displaying.
10. The left side of the shuttle shows information that is available but not displayed.
11. The right side shows information that is displayed and the order of the columns.
12. In this example, we want to display the first 3 digits of a person's zip code in our report.
Double Click Zip (1st 3 characters) to move it from the left side to the right side of the shuttle.
13. Remove unwanted items by double-clicking items on the right side and move them to the left side.
14. Order your columns by using the up and down arrows on the far right side.
15. Click Apply when you are finished selecting and ordering your column or columns.
16. Now that this column is being displayed in our report, we can use this item to set our filters.
