1. This tutorial reviews the Competition Settings Dashboard for administrators and assignors.

This dashboard provides visibility into how a Competition is configured and displays all settings.

2. To start, click Competitions

3. For this example, we will look at the settings dashboard for the Lakeville Fathers Day Cup.

Click the magnifying glass next to the Competition.

4. Click the Binoculars icon to access the settings dashboard.

5. The first area shows overall Competition Settings. The competition owner, lead assignor, and other competition settings are displayed here.

6. To edit these settings, go to the previous page and click Edit Competition Record for this Competition.

7. Nested settings can be expanded by clicking on the arrow next to it.

For example, Oversight shows who the Competition has been shared with.

Click the arrow next to a person's name to see what permission level has been provided -- View or Admin.

8. Competition Portal users are listed in the Competition Settings area as well.

9. To add a person to the Competition Portal, click the Competition Portal region within the Competition, then click Add Person and complete the form.

10. The next area is Schedule Settings. We can see each schedule within this competition, and see that each schedule contains nested settings within them.

11. Click the arrow next to a schedule to expand it and see how each setting is configured.

Global assignment rules are set by full-access administrators.

12. To edit schedule settings in bulk, click Schedule Settings within the Competition.

13. To edit the settings for a specific schedule only, go into that schedule.

14. Then click Edit Schedule to adjust the settings for that schedule.

15. The Roles within this schedule can be seen by expanding that area.

16. Each role has General, Payment & Fees, and Self-Assignment Settings associated with it.

17. The last three settings: Is Observed, Is Observer, and Submit Match Report are set by the account administrator under the settings for Match Roles.

The remaining settings are configured at the schedule level.

18. Payment & Fees settings, including the payment method, payor, and default game fees are displayed.

These settings can be edited in the Payors section of the Competition for a specific Schedule.

19. Self-Assignment Settings are shown here.

20. To edit Self-Assignment settings, go to the specific schedule.

21. Click the Self Assign area under Resources.

22. Click the Edit icon next to a role to adjust the settings for that role only.

23. Or click Grid Edit to bulk edit across multiple roles.

24. The next section is Assignor Settings. The configuration and permissions for each assignor is nested under the assignor's name.

25. Configuration items show who added the assignor, when assignable matches will appear in their queue, and the date they were added to the Competition.

26. Click the arrow next to Permissions to see the assignor's profile settings.

27. If the assignor is permitted to assign all items within the Competition, Yes will be displayed. If there are limitations to an item, No will be displayed.

28. To edit these settings, go into the Competition and click on the Assignors region.

29. To edit a specific person's profile, click the magnifying glass next to the person's name.

30. Alternatively, click Assignor Details to see all assignor profile details.

31. Click the magnifying glass next to the person's name to view and edit their assigning permission profile.

32. Click Edit Profile

33. The person's Assignor Permissions are listed here. If one of these items needs to be limited, click Limited next to the item, then specify what they are allowed to assign.

34. The next section is the Self-Assign Summary. The maximum daily number of matches an official can self-assign within the Competition is displayed. This setting can be edited using the Edit Competition Record button.

35. Each schedule shows the match roles within it and any daily maximum games an official can self-assign within this schedule.

36. Self-Assign settings for each role are displayed here, such as if self-assign is allowed, maximum drive times, pools, minimum and maximum ages, default status, and the assignor of record.

37. To view self-assign settings across all schedules, click Self-Assign within the Competition.

38. Self-assign settings are edited at the schedule level.

Click Schedules within the Competition.

39. Choose the schedule by clicking on the magnifying glass next to it.

40. Click Self-Assign under the Resources area.

41. Click the Edit icon to edit the self-assign settings for a specific role.

42. Click Grid Edit to edit self-assign settings across all roles within this schedule.

43. Click the Edit button to edit the grid.

44. Or Double Click inside the cell to edit it.

45. Edit the settings as you wish for each match role.

46. Click Save when finished.

47. The next section is Payment Summary

48. Each schedule displays the match roles within it. Within each match role, the default game fee, payment method, and payor is displayed.

49. To edit Payor settings, go to the Competition and click Payors. All match roles for each schedule within the Competition displays the Payment Method and Current Payor.

50. If the person is a user in the Payor's portal, Payors can be added or changed. Click Manage Payors to update the payor.

51. The next section is Payor Summary. Each payor within this Competition will be listed here. For each payor, the settings are displayed here. Bank account information is never displayed.

52. Payor Portal users are listed for each specific payor.

53. The date the person was added and permissions for the payor portal user are displayed under each person's name.

54. The last section is Account Level Settings.

To adjust the top settings, submit a ticket to support@refinsight.com.

55. Match Roles for the account are set and controlled by full-access administrators under Settings - Match Roles.

56. Each match role has associated settings for whether it is an observed or observer role, the global assigning rules attached to this role, sort order, and submitting match reports.

57. Global assigning rules attached to each match role are shown here. These are chosen and managed by full-access administrators under Settings.

Contact support@refinsight.com to request a new global assigning rule for your organization.

58. The specific global assigning rules for each match role is displayed.

59. The override settings for each assigning rule are also displayed. These can be edited by full-access administrators under Settings - Assigning Rules (global), selecting the match role, and adjusting the override toggles for the relevant rule.
