25 STEPS
1. This tutorial shows how to manually add a Background Check or SafeSport license to a person within your Directory.
Only full-access administrators can manually add these licenses to a person's profile.
2. This option is useful for U.S. Soccer non-Learning-Center state associations that use alternative background check companies or SafeSport registration systems, where these licenses are not visible in the Learning Center.
3. To start, click Directory
4. Search for the relevant person in the Directory using the search bar and click the magnifying glass next to their name.
5. Click USSF Licenses
6. Click Add Background / SafeSport
7. Click the License type you want to add.
8. Let's start with a Background Check.
Click Issue Date.
9. Use the Calendar to select your date.
Change the year by clicking on the year.
10. Click the relevant year
11. Use the arrows to go to the previous or next months.
12. Select the date by clicking on it in the calendar.
13. Repeat these steps for the Expiration Date.
14. Click How was this License verified?
15. Type in how this license was verified.
16. Click Create
17. Our Background Check has now been added to this person's profile.
18. Repeat these steps to add a SafeSport license.
Click Add Background / SafeSport.
19. Click Safesport as the License type.
20. Enter the Issue and Expiration Dates.
21. Type how this license was verified.
22. Click Create
23. The Background Check and SafeSport licenses are now added to this person's profile.
The USSF Background Check and SafeSport assigning rules will now recognize valid licenses for these items within the assigning workspace.
