35 STEPS
1. This tutorial reviews how to use the Spend Forecast feature for Competitions.
Spend Forecast allows you to forecast how much will be spent on game fees for a competition ahead of time, using the Group By and Chart functions of the interactive menu.

2. To start, click Competitions

3. Click the magnifying glass next to the Competition of interest. For this example, we will use The Lexington Cup.

4. Click Spend Forecast

5. The primary report is displayed, showing roles and fees for each match, plus additional columns.
Let's first review the Group By function within the interactive menu to get a total of game fees by match role.
Click Actions.

6. Click Group By

7. In the pop-up window, click Group By Column to expand the dropdown.

8. For this example, we are grouping fees by match role. Click Role.
If you want to group fees by other items, such as home team or club, schedule or age group, you can select those. You can also add other items to create nested groups.

9. Under Functions, click Select Function to expand the dropdown.

10. For this example, we are interested in the sum of the game fees by match role. Click Sum.

11. Click Select Column to expand the dropdown.

12. Click Game Fee

13. Label can be left blank. Format Mask will auto-populate, so can also be left blank.
Move the Sum toggle to the right.

14. Click Apply

15. Each match role is listed, with the sum of game fees entered for each match role, and a total across all match roles.

16. If you prefer to see these grouping and sums as a chart, the interactive menu has that option.
Click the View Report icon to return to the primary report.

17. Click Actions.

18. Click Chart
