1. This tutorial shows how to update a match status.
2. You can access specific matches in a number of ways. The quickest method is by clicking Matches in the menu.
3. Use the Filters to the left of the Matches list to narrow down your search.
4. If you know the Match Key, click on the column header and type in all or part of the key to do a search within this column.
5. You can also type in all or part of the Match Key in the main search bar and click Go or press Enter to do a search across all columns.
6. When you find your match, click the magnifying glass next to the match.
7. Match Details are listed at the top left of the page. Note the match is currently in Scheduled status.
8. Site Details are listed at the top right of the page.
9. The first region is used to update the match status from Scheduled to any one of the options shown here.
10. For this example, we will update this match to Postponed status. Click Postponed.
11. The match status has now been updated to Postponed.
12. It is good practice to adjust the Match Key with an indicator to help find or filter these matches quickly. It also helps distinguish them from rescheduled matches with the same base Match Key.
13. This practice is especially helpful if there are new officials on the rescheduled match, or if the officials on a postponed match need to be paid.
Click Edit Match Record.
14. Click inside the Match Key cell.
15. Add -P to the end of the Match Key.
If the match status was updated to Canceled, add -C to the match key instead. Rescheduled matches can add -R to the Match Key. Forfeited matches can add -F.
16. Add Admin-only notes in this text box if you wish.
17. You can also add Notes to Officials for the officials to see.
18. Type in your note and click Save Changes when finished.

19. Click cancel to return to the Match Details page.
20. Click Cancel again to return to the Matches list.
