37 STEPS

1. This tutorial shows how to organize sites into regions and use these regions to restrict assignor permissions.

2. To start, click the arrow next to Settings to expand the dropdown.

3. Click Regions

4. Click Create Region

5. Type in the name of your Region

6. Type in a description if you wish.

7. Click Create

8. Now that we've created a region, it's time to add sites to it. Click the plus sign in the Sites area.

9. Click Site

10. Type in a search item to help narrow down the list of sites in the dropdown.

11. You can search for a specific site, a city, or a state (or province) to help narrow the list.

12. Select the site that goes into this region.

13. Click Create

14. Repeat these steps until all the sites that belong to this region are selected.

15. The sites that belong to this region have now been selected.

16. If you need to edit the Name or Description of the Region, click Edit.

17. Make the relevant edits.

18. Click Apply Changes when finished.

19. To access other Regions you created, search and/or select it.

20. If you need to remove a site from the list, click the Edit icon.

21. Click Delete

22. Click Delete again to confirm this action.

23. The site list for this region is now updated.

24. Let's now see how Regions can be used as a restriction for assignor profiles.

To access assignor profiles, click Competitions in the menu.

25. Let's use the 2025 Alberta Football League as our example. Click the magnifying glass next to the Competition.

26. Click Assignors

27. Click the magnifying glass next to the person's name.

28. Click Edit Profile

29. Click Limited next to the Sites item to limit the sites this assignor can assign.

Regions will appear as an item within the Sites permission.

30. Click Save Changes

31. Now that we have put a restriction on the Sites item, we need to specify the sites the assignor can assign matches for. Click the gear wheel.

32. Note at the top left we are performing an Add Sites action.

Click the Regions column header to filter for the region we previously created.

33. Select the relevant Region to filter the list.

34. Click the top checkbox to select all the sites within this region. You can also select individual sites if you prefer.

35. Click Save

36. This assignor is now restricted to assign sites that belong to a specific region.

Click cancel to return to the previous page.

37. Thank you for watching the tutorial on creating Regions and using this feature to restrict Assignor permissions.
