45 STEPS
1. This tutorial reviews the Pending Requirements Follow-up report, which tracks officials who have been cleared to receive assignments through a rule violation administrative override but still need to complete specific certification requirements.
2. Unlike the Rule Violations report which shows all rule issues, this focused report specifically monitors credential completion status for officials who have been conditionally allowed to receive and accept assignments.
3. Click the arrow next to Reports to expand the dropdown.
4. Click Pending Requirements
5. Note that all names that appear in this tutorial are fictitious.
6. Click the arrow next to Report Description for a full explanation of this report.
7. This report shows only those officials with pending credential requirements that require follow-up. Once an official completes their requirements, they are automatically removed from this list.
8. The report tracks critical credentials like SafeSport, background check, and license renewals.
It provides visibility to assignors who need to verify credential completion after conditional overrides.
9. It is especially useful for officials under 18 at the time of assignment, but who will turn 18 by the match date and require SafeSport and background credentials.
It is also useful for mid-year expirations of SafeSport or background checks.
10. Overriding each rule violation allows the assignment to be released and the official to respond to it.
This report provides a convenient way to track the officials' pending requirements to ensure all have been met by the match date.
11. By monitoring this report, assignors can make informed decisions about assignments and help prevent last-minute replacement of officials due to unmet requirements.
12. Assignors can see officials within their Competitions.
Full-access administrators can view all pending requirements across the account by moving the Full Access mode toggle to the right.
13. To organize this report by official, set a control break.
To set a control break, click Actions.
14. Click Format, then Control Break.
15. Click Column 1
16. Click Name
17. Click Apply
18. The report is now organized by official, with all relevant assignments and pending requirements displaying beneath their name.
When the official has met their requirements, they will disappear from the list.
19. Let's now move to the assigning workspace to demonstrate a new feature that allows assignors without full-access admin permissions to request an override.
20. Here, we have an official with several rule violations for various credentials. These violations can be viewed by clicking on the pink cell.
Each of these particular violations in this example requires an override from a full-access administrator.
21. Click the magnifying glass within the assignment focus to open it.
22. Click View Assignment
23. Assigning rule violations now always display the magnifying glass. Click this icon.
24. If you do not have sufficient permissions to override this violation, click Request an Override.
This request will be displayed within the bulk justification area of all full-access administrators, which we will demonstrate later in this tutorial.
25. Type in the reason the violation should be overridden and click Save.
25b. Click
26. Click cancel to return to the assignment view page.
27. Repeat these steps for each violation found. The override request, details, and who requested it will appear as columns in this Assigning Rule Violations area.
28. This next section of the tutorial is to show full-access admins where override requests can be found.
Click the arrow next to Tools to expand the dropdown.
29. Click Bulk Justification
30. Within the bulk justification report, three new columns have been added: Override request, the details of the request, and who requested the override.
31. Note that no notifications will be sent when an override request is made.
It is recommended that full-access admins review this report regularly to address these requests or assign this responsibility to appropriate team members.
32. To justify several rule violations in bulk, select the relevant assignments ...
33.
34.
35. Type in the justifcation reason and click Save Justification.
35b. Click
36. Click Save Justification again to confirm.
37. Once the rule violations have been overridden, assignors will be able to release the assignments.
Let's go back to the Assigning Workspace to see these justifications.
38. The assignment that previously had violations is now ready for release.
39. The justifications can be seen in the assignment focus area.
40. Assignments can either be released using the release assignments icon ...
41. Or from the assignment focus area by clicking on the magnifying glass.
42. Click Release
43. Click Cancel when finished.
44. Click the Pending Requirements report to see this official and their assignment.
45. The official, their assignment, and their pending requirements can now be tracked here.
